Antonio Esfandiari's win in Event #2: �1,100 NLHE yesterday has shaken up the 2012 World Series of Poker Player of the Year race. The victory allowed him to leapfrog John Monnette and Phil Ivey into the lead by over 114 points; however, Greg Merson, who currently sits in seventh place with 481.13 points, is a member of the October Nine. If he finishes in fourth place or better when the Main Event final recommences later this month, he will take over the lead.
