Heavily supported by his raucous rail, young James Keys is playing in what is by far the biggest tournament of his three-year career, the paltry $78 he qualified for now looking to be a shrewd investment indeed.
Carrying a substantial stack throughout the majority of the tournament, James caught his biggest score as soon as he reached the final 36, the ��27,125 he cashed for comfortably surpassing his previous largest triumph of $3,000.
Hailing from the sunny shores of Bury St�� Edmunds, but now working in London for Betfair, 21-year old James is currently a student at Durham university and picked up the game off mentors Ben Mayhew and Thomas Ferrari. He has been playing online for around 3 years, but makes the odd trip to the Gutshot Club in London to sharpen his live skills.
His friends were very keen for me to add the rather fabricated accusations of S&M, bondage and any other sordid interest, but I had to hesitantly decline.

The 24-year old Magnus Persson is a student, who makes a living on the side as a poker player. Persson played at the WSOP in Las Vegas this summer. He took 32nd place in the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event. His only other major cashes came at the 2005 Barcelona Open, where he took 15th place in two different events. At one point, Persson held the chip lead on Day 4. He's not afraid to play big pots.
At the featured TV table on Day 4, he played back at the aggressive Theo Jorgensen on multiple occasions. In one instance, with about 100,000 in the pot, the flop was
. Jorgensen bet 60,000. Persson raised to 320,000. Jorgensen stood up and showed his hand...the 
...before he folded."I'm going to wait to see what you had on TV," said Jorgensen. "If I find out you bluffed me, I'm going to hunt you down, wherever you are, and beat you up."
"It wasn't a bluff," said Persson.
"Then show," responded Jorgensen.
Persson was about to flip over his cards, but he slowly tossed them into the muck.
Persson made the final table along with Theo Jorgensen, so it will be interesting to see if those two will cross paths once again. Persson is second in chips, not too far behind the chipleader Matt McCullough.

Previously identified on the European Tour by his distinctive brown hat, Theo is one of the most charming and colourful players on the circuit. Entertaining, fun and charismatic, his boyish charm has encouraged a strong female following.
Deceptively older than his looks, although the removal of the hat unveils a greying head of hair, the thirty something Dane from Copenhagen has an inspirational EPT record and is part of that elite group to have made it through to multiple final tables.
First impressing in Deauville with his 4th place finish, Theo then repeated that achievement in the 2007 Scandinavian Open, this time earning slightly more with a 137,254 Krone payday. Far from a one hit wonder, Theo is seemingly a jack-of-all-trades, that title proven by his top dog placing in 2004's European 7-Card Stud Championship Final.
