Casey Cavanaugh came into the pot raising to 34,000, and Pej Niyati gave him some action from the small blind. The dealer spread out a heads-up flop. Niyati checked to the raiser, but he was thinking sinister thoughts. When Cavanaugh bet 40,000, Niyati clicked it back to 80,000 on a check-raise. Cavanaugh called.
The turn brought the and a leading bet from Niyati 96,000. Cavanaugh didn't waste much time calling that bet either, and the river filled out the board. Now it went check-check.
Niyati tabled his first, and Cavanaugh waited to see it before showing down his superior to take the pot.
