Today is the day these nine players have been waiting for. The day that one of them will be handed a shiny gold and diamond ring alongside a check for nearly $300,000. The day that one of them will forever inscribe their name in the poker history books. The day that men become legends.
Okay, that may be taking it a bit far, but all of the buildup is finally coming to a head as we are nearing the end of our three-day epic. One hundred seventy-nine players began this event on Sunday, and 170 of them have been sent home. Just our lucky (read: skilled) nine remain to duke it out for the grand prize.
