Get to Know WSOP Bracelet Winner Jacquelyn Scott

Jacquelyn Scott likes to have fun at the poker table.
Last month she was over in Europe competing in the EPT Monte Carlo, eventually finishing sixth in the 1,100 French National Championship for $47,691.
While she's a familiar face here at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, what Scott is best known for is topping a field of 795 runners to win the 2015 World Series of Poker $1,000 Ladies Event for a career-high $153,876 and a coveted gold bracelet.
Oh, I always have fun. Usually when I come to a poker tournament, and the guys dont know me, they dont know what to expect," Scott recently told PokerNews in a feature interview. "And then when they see my sense of humor they go, I really like you, youre funny, and I go thanks!
Originally from Michigan, Scott now lives in Fort Lauderdale where she got her start in poker.
I started playing with a couple of guys in my office, and wed go to the Hard Rock and I just got very intrigued by it and decided, I can do this I got totally into it and then I took it very seriously. So Ive always had to balance my career with poker, because my real estate business comes first.
We'll be keeping an eye on Scott to see if she can replicate her Monte Carlo success by making a deep run here at the 2019 Seminole Hard Rock May Deep Stack Poker Series.
