After four flights and 683 entrants, The RunGood Poker Series $600 Main Event at Downstream Resort and Casino outside of Joplin, Missouri sees its final 82 players take their seats at noon today for their piece of the $355,160 prize pool. Each one looking for their piece of RGPS history.
Leading the way is Daniel Snowden who ended his day with 732,000. Snowdens over $500,000 in live earnings, gives him more tournament experience than a lot of the field and a RGPS title would be a nice cherry on top of a large cake of experience.
Following him on the leaderboards is one with already a cherry of his own, RGPS Tulsa Champion Pete Petree (710,000), the only other player to bag over 700,000 in chips. Petree acquired quite a lot of chips at the end of the night yesterday, and he looks to become one of the rare few to have won two RGPS titles.
Others who are coming into today with eyes on the prize are Jael Lewis (680,000), Kevin Unkel (559,000), Kasey Stanford (355,000), Rodney Spriggs (223,000), Youtuber Ashley PokerFaceAsh Frank (104,000), and WSOP bracelet winner Blair Hinkle (79,000). Each one of them is looking for a RGPS title to add to their resumes.
