Grzegorz Kozieja opened from the button to 400,000. Mats Ullereng raised to 1,200,000 from the small blind. Jonas Hagstrom then four-bet to 2,600,000.
Kozieja folded before Ullereng went into the tank. Eventually he moved all in and was snap-called by Hagstrom.

On the J?10?2? flop, Ullereng check-called versus a bet of 325,000 from Hagstrom.
The 5? turn followed the same pattern, this time in respect of a 1,375,000 bet from the Swede.
The 2? river completed the board, and Ullereng checked once more. Hagstrom jammed for 4,000,000, a pot-sized bet, and Ullereng went into the tank, taking at least three minutes before ultimately tapping the table and disposing of his cards.

Hagstrom led for 300,000 on the 7?A?6? flop. Kozieja called. The turn 4? was checked around before Hagstrom led for 2,200,000 on the 2? river. Kozieja took a minute before moving all in for 6,575,000.
Hagstrom hated the spot, removed his cap and pulled down his hood. After two or so minutes in the tank he sent his hand into the muck.
Mats Ullereng raised to 600,000 from the small blind and Jonas Hagstrom called in the big blind.
On the A?K?8? flop, Ullereng continued with a bet of 600,000, and Hagstrom stuck around.
The A? hit on the turn, and Ullereng fired again, with a downsized bet of 700,000. Hagstrom again called.
The 3? river completed the board. Ullereng took some time to think before moving all in with the covering stack, and after some thought, Hagstrom made the call.
Ullereng tabled A?K? for the full house, while Hagstrom had 8?7? for two pair aces and eights, bringing a battling performance to an end.

Kozieja now required a jack for the pot, or a deuce for the chop, but the 8?8? turn and river were bricks to bring an end to the heads-up battle and give Ullereng the trophy.
Ullereng let out a quiet “Yes!” In celebration as the river hit, and the players shook hands, saying “Good game”.
