Yevhen Dzhura was balanced away from the feature table to then return to the very same seat and open-shoved the 4?4? from an early position. Youssef Zereg rejammed with the K?K? in the next seat to isolate, Farid Jattin was among those to fold A?J?.
The board ran out 10?10?5?J?9? and that spelled the end for Dzhura.
Matthias Lipp raised to 45,000 in early position and Gregory Fournier called in the cutoff. Byron Kaverman then three-bet to 205,000 in the big blind and only Fournier called.
The flop came 4?K?6? and Kaverman continued for 110,000. Fournier called to see the J? turn, where Kaverman bet another 185,000.
Fournier again called and the 3? fell on the river. Kaverman then bet 475,000, sending Fournier deep into the tank.
Fournier burned through five time banks as he considered the decision for several minutes before calling. Kaverman turned over A?5? for a bluff, while Fournier showed 10?10? to win the massive pot.
At the same time at another table, Ihar Soika and Kostadin Kostadinov went heads-up in a blind versus blind battle to a board of K?7?6?8?. Soika then bet 40,000, Kostadinov raised to 120,000, and Soika called.
The river was the Q? and Kostadinov bet 225,000, enough to put Soika all in. Soika tanked for more than a minute before calling as Kostadinov turned over K?2? for a pair of kings. Soika tossed 9?6? into the muck before heading for the payout desk.
Grigorii Rodin raised to 150,000 under the gun, leaving his last 75,000 behind, as Francesco Delfoco reraised to 410,000 in the small blind. Johannes Verhagen folded his big blind, while Rodin tossed in his last chips.
Grigorii Rodin: K?J?
Francesco Delfoco: K?K?
Rodin got some hope on the J?8?7? flop, picking up a pair of jacks, while the 2? turn kept Delfoco in the lead. "I wouldn't mind a jack," Rodin said heading to the river, which came the 7? and sealed Rodin's bustout in 52nd place after a run to the final table at EPT Prague in December.
Clement Kerrien was also eliminated from this table a few hands earlier as David Tous climbed up to 2,900,000.
Linus Hjulstroem raised to 45,000 from early position before Krasimir Neychev made it 120,000 from the button. Francisco Perez four-bet jammed for 475,000 from the big blind only to see Hjulstroem rejam for around 650,000. Neychev folded and the cards were tabled.
Francisco Perez: A?10?
Linus Hjulstroem: A?K?
Perez was dominated and ultimately fell to Hjulstroem as the latter made the nut flush on the Q?7?2?7?3? runout.
After David Tous had three-bet an earlier open to 125,000 on the button, Diego Montone made it 400,000 to go from the small blind.
The action folded back to Tous, who five-bet jammed for 1,025,000, barely covering his opponent. Montone thought about it for a little while but eventually tossed in a call for his tournament life.
Diego Montone: Q?Q?
David Tous: A?K?
Montone stood up as the A?5?3? flop fell, and he was right to do so as the 7?6? saw Tous' flopped top pair hold up for the win.
Tous raked in a big pot while Montone headed to the exit to collect his payout.
Gregory Fournier raised to 40,000 in the cutoff, then called when button Fouad Rabahie moved all in for 500,000.
Fouad Rabahie: A?8?
Gregory Fournier: A?Q?
Rabahie was dominated until the 5?8?8? flop gave him trip eights. Fournier picked up a flush draw and hit it on the 6? turn, leaving Rabahie needing to fill up on the river to stay alive. The river was the 10? and Rabahie couldn't improve as he hit the rail.
Byron Kaverman raised to 40,000 on the button and Bryan Paris moved all in for 485,000 in the big blind. Kaverman confirmed the amount before calling.
Bryan Paris: 4?4?
Byron Kaverman: A?9?
The flop came J?A?8? and Kaverman pulled into the lead with a pair of aces. The A? turn improved him to trips, while the 9? river gave him a full house for the second time so far on Day 4 as Paris hit the rail.
"Where did you get the coffee this morning?" tablemate Fouad Rabahie joked with Kaverman.
