Amit has a solid list of performances in Omaha events and should be considered one of the favorite in this event. Back in 2005, Amit won the $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha event at the World Series of Poker for $511,835. The following year, he almost went back-to-back in the very same event, placing fourth for $143,444. He also final tabled the $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha with Rebuys event at the 2006 Series to showoff some more of his Omaha prowess.
In 2007, Amit won his second gold bracelet in the $1,000 Deuce-to-Seven Triple Draw Lowball with Rebuys event for $227,005. Later that year, he placed 16th at the WSOP Europe in the 5,000 Pot Limit Omaha event.
