Welcome back to day 2 coverage of The HKD $100,000 (~USD $13,000) High Rollers Event. The tournament gets underway at 2:20 p.m. local time and play will continue until a champion is crowned. With 40-minute levels and blinds escalating quickly, we are expecting a day filled with action and plenty of all ins.
Marius Torbergsen begins the day with the biggest stack and a solid lead with 706,500 but will need to fend off plenty of competition as he fights to stay out in front and claim the first place prize of HK$1,831,000 (about $236,000).
Starting the day second in chips is Quan Zhou, last month��s APPT Seoul High Roller Champion with 523,000. Also still in the field are high-stakes player Winfred Yu (243,500), 2012 Aussie Millions Champion Kenny Wong (230,000), successful tournament player J.J. Liu (214,500) and 2010 APPT Macau Main Event Champion, Victorino Torres (163,000).
