Ian Simpson picked up A?A? under the gun and raised to 160,000. Jonas ten Cate then three-bet to 400,000 in early position with K?7? as action folded to Michaelangelo Serra in the big blind. He looked down at A?K? and four-bet to 800,000.
Simpson then moved all in and Ten Cate quickly folded, but Serra burned through a few of his time banks before also folding as Simpson took the big pot without seeing a flop.
With that pot, Simpson has moved atop the chip leaderboard.
