Paolo Boi is an Italian poker player best known for winning the $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em event at the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas for $676,990 and his first WSOP bracelet.
Boi had two cashes in 2009, both in tournaments held in his native Italy. He then has a nearly 10-year wait for his next result, a cash �220 side event at the partypoker LIVE Grand Prix Barcelona festival. He cashed once more in 2020 before not appearing on the radar of the Hendon Mob Database for another two years.
Since 2022, Boi has played a lot more poker. In April 2023, Boi finished seventh in the �2,200 FPS High Roller in Monte Carlo for �63,610, his largest score. A couple of days later, he cashed in the �5,300 EPT Monte Carlo Main Event.
In 2024, Boi reached the money of the �5,300 EPT Monte Carlo Main Event again before finishing second in the �1,050 Hyper Turbo Freezout at the same festival.
Boi headed to the 2024 WSOP, where he played in the $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em event. He outlasted 1,772 opponents and collected $676,990 and his first WSOP bracelet.
