Kathy Liebert Wins Wynn Millions Seniors Event in Las Vegas

Women in Poker Hall of Famer Kathy Liebert took down the Wynn Millions Seniors Event for $39,097.
The two-day $1,100 buy-in event had a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000 and drew 158 players. It took place during the Wynn Millions festival running Feb. 17-23 in the luxurious Wynn Poker Room.
The Women in Poker Hall of Famer aptly posed with pocket queens in front of her golden Wynn trophy in the winner's photo.

Liebert's Hot Streak Continues
The victory gives Liebert her second live win in the past year after going more than a decade without a live tournament victory. In August 2024, she won a Wynn Signature Series Ladies Event for $5,806.
Several poker players congratulated Liebert on the win, including Vanessa Kade and Veronica Brill.

The Wynn Millions series has already handed out more than $1.6 million in prizes more than a dozen events.
The series features five events with guarantees of at least half a million — the $600 NLH, the $1,100 NLH, and the $2,000 NLH events, each with a $500,000 guarantee, plus the $1 million guaranteed $1,600 Mystery Bounty and the $2 million guaranteed $3,000 Championship.
PokerNews highlighted some early winners of the series including Ruth Sun ($400 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw - $7,967), Yikun Zhang ($200 NLH Turbo - $6,694), and Ryan Wolfson ($400 NLH - $31,000).
More recently, Thong Tran topped a field of 98 runners in $400 PLO Turbo $100 Bounty for $5,751 and Matthew Vengrin got through 79 runners in $1,1100 HORSE to win $23,821. Vengrin won by making quads during a Stud battle, according to the Wynn Poker Room.
