$6.3 Million and 15 Rings Gtd at WSOP Circuit Sydney
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit returns to The Star Sydney in Australia from November 14th and the festival is going to be nothing short of massive.
All 14 action-packed events award coveted WSOP Circuit rings and each of those 14 tournaments has a guaranteed prize pool. It is the first time The Star Sydney, the exclusive Australian partner of the WSOP, has slapped a guaranteed prize pool on its entire WSOP Circuit schedule.
There is a WSOP Circuit Sydney event for everyone thanks to a large range of buy-ins and different formats. Players heading to The Star Sydney can play in tournaments such as the Monster Stack, six-handed tournaments, pot-limit Omaha, a ladies event, a masters tournament, and much more.
Buy-ins start at $330 and increase all the way up to a gargantuan $20,000. Satellites are running right now if the larger buy-in tournaments are out of the constraints of your bankroll.

Perhaps the most eagerly anticipated tournament of the value-packed series is the Main Event, which this year features a big blind ante to speed up play. Buying into the WSOP Circuit Sydney Main Event will set you back $2,200 but for that sum you get to play for a slice of a $2.2 million guaranteed prize pool.
To give you some indication as to what to expect from the Main Event, last years attracted 1,191 entrants who were all outlasted by Alex Lynskey who walked away with $422,796 after defeating fellow Aussie Matthew Pongrass heads-up for the title.
In addition to the $6.3 million worth of guaranteed prize pools, two players will also win entry to the 2019 WSOP Global Casino Championship that has a US$1 million prize pool. The winner of the WSOP Circuit Sydney Main Event secures their seat, plus whoever tops the leaderboard will join them in representing The Star Sydney at the Global Casino Championship. Each of those seats is worth US$10,000 plus sponsorship allowances.
You earn leaderboard points for every WSOP Circuit Sydney event you play in, with the exception of the Ladies Event and the Masters Tournament as they have entry restrictions. Contact The Star Sydney for a full breakdown of the leaderboard system.
