Cash Game Festival Returns to London Feb. 15-19
Cash game players from around the globe are getting ready for the first stop of the Cash Game Festival in 2017 at Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City from Feb. 15-19.
As is always the case at the Cash Game Festival, players should expect more than 120 hours of nonstop poker action along with a variety of fun activities off the felt. Festival organizers expect there to be at least 30 tables of action running at stakes ranging from 1/1 all the way up to 25/50, giving every player a chance to have fun and win big. During the last visit to London, players were enjoying no-limit hold'em, Omaha, dealer's choice, six-plus hold'em, Sviten Special (otherwise known as Drawmaha) and a variety of mixed games.
Last year marked the first time the Cash Game Festival left its original home of Tallinn, Estonia to embark on a five-stop international tour including two stops in London. Also, last year's tour featured stops in Malta and Sunny Beach, Bulgaria before ending the year back home in Tallinn.
Festival organizers shared that there will be 10 stops this year starting off in London before heading to Slovenia, Tallinn and Gibraltar.
The VIP hospitality package will include dinner, a sports activity, a party and sightseeing with a twist. Unlike tournament festivals where players miss many of the activities if playing, players can enjoy all the activities because they can always get up from a cash game. Of course, players may choose to stick it out on the felt if they are on a juicy table they don't want to get up from.
Additionally, one of the main attractions of the Cash Game Festival is that any player has the chance to be on a televised feature table streamed on the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel, as well as picked up by multiple media outlets, including PokerNews.
This gives players not attending a feel of some of the poker action, while players on the feature table can look back later at their hands and potentially get some tips on where to adjust. You can reserve your seat on any table, including the televised table, on the Cash Game Festival website.
Here is a look at some of the hot action both on and off the poker tables during the Cash Game Festival's last stop in London.
The PokerNews Live Reporting team will be covering the festival with player interviews and recaps of some of the most exciting action.
If you can't make London, the Cash Game Festival Slovenia is also just around the corner taking place at Casino Perla from March 8 to 12.
