The Railbird: Viktor Bloms Drops $771,500 to Alex Millar Playing $400/$800 NLHE

In our latest edition of The Online Railbird Report we told you about the successful weeks of both Viktor Isildur1 Blom and Alex IReadYrSoul Millar. On Thursday and Friday, the two squared off at the $400/$800 no-limit hold'em tables on Full Tilt Poker and only one would walk away a winner.
That man was Millar, who was up $1,257,962 in 3,346 hands over 41 sessions the week before. Thanks to his most recent encounter with his Swedish foe, Millar won an additional $771,000 from Blom, who was up $694,379 for the week prior to the match.
Bloms bad day actually started against Isaac luvtheWNBA Haxton at the $300/$600 and $400/$800 no-limit holdem tables. After three hours or so, Haxton walked away a $267,800 winner thanks in no small part to winning two $300K-plus pots.
In the largest of the two, which happened to be the second biggest of the day, Haxton ($286,720.40) opened for $2,160 and then called when Blom ($178,268.33) three-bet to $7,200. After the flop came down 3?6?9?, Blom led out for $8,000, Haxton called and the J? appeared on the turn. Blom fired again, this time $23,200, and again Haxton called.
Once the Q? completed the board on the river, Blom shoved for $139,868.33 and Haxton snap-called. Blom tabled the Q?J? for top two pair, but it was no good as Haxton rolled over the 6?4? for the $356,536 pot.
Later on in the afternoon on Thursday, Blom began a match against Millar that went into the early morning hours of Friday. At one point Blom, who was ahead most of the match, was up $400,000; however, Millar managed to battle back and take an equal lead of his own. Toward the end, Millar hit another heater to walk away from the table a $771,500 winner.
It was during his match against Blom that Millar won the days biggest pot. Have a look:
